Wonderful experience. First, we got a great room for a nice rate (the hotel was almost empty when we came) and everyone was very nice. It’s true that the hotel has a very special old time atmosphere (we wanted to change for a cheaper option after couple of days but it was already so hard to leave). The interiors are awesome and very stylish, the views from the hotel are magnificent. The reception is very helpful except we did have to ask for some things a few times but eventually we did get them (unlike other hotels in Turkey). Generally the place is very friendly and has a nice vibe. There are some things about the room of course - like old ceilings, stains on the carpet which were quiet unpleasant, and main disadvantage of the hotel - it’s made of wood so you feel like everyone walking is inside your room, but the atmosphere of this place is worth it this disadvantages. What I didn’t like about the room was the bed - first, we got 2 beds moved together instead one one large which is always inconvenient, and second, the mattresses felt quite cheap and too firm. Very beautiful pool (it’s very cold though, would be nice to heat it), tasty breakfast - nothing special but everything is super fresh and we really enjoyed it. Overall, definitely one of the hotel experience we will remember and will love to repeat.

With words of gratitude, I would like to note that every time I leave this hotel, I want to come back here again. And all this thanks to the hotel team, which was able to recreate the authentic atmosphere and spirit of the last century and preserve it .Ho wever, the rooms of this hotel are equipped with everything necessary for everyday use. In addition, high-quality, professional service and varied breakfasts made our family vacation unforgettable.

A highly underwhelming, disappointing disaster of hotel. Great location, but the building’s pluming smells. And it’s dirty. Actually, it’s more filthy than just forgetting to sweep the corners. The towels were stained. The staff and service was subpar. It didn’t seem like any one wanted to be there. The breakfast was good but for example the orange juice wasn’t fresh, no one asked if we would have liked eggs. The espresso machine doesn’t have an outlet so the table they have it placed on makes no sense. You have to take the whole espresso machine and put it on the floor in order to make a cup of coffee. The pool is very poorly kept. You can’t walk barefoot around the edges or your feet will be covered in dirt. They didn’t bother to put in an air conditioner, probably because individual units will ruin the look of the beautiful building, but for 277$/250euro a night you’d think they would have had some sense to put in a central cooling system. And it gets hot so you really do need to have an air conditioner. In every way they were a failure all around. Sorry Splendid you will not be able to live up to your name with this mentality

Beautiful building that used to be a wonderful hotel. Unfortunately they have made the ground floor an outdoor night club. So it’s very loud music outside your window all night. I recommend coming here for a drink during the day, or going to the club but do not stay at the hotel.

Wonderful hotel with a west anderson movie vibe. Room are good but a bit old, bed wasn’t very comfortable but it’s ok. Staffs were very friendly and the splendido café makes the best cortado!
